At first there’s a lot of grey in things
The buildings as well as the skies
Funny what new perspective brings
The world through Roy Orbison’s eyes
Banff means piglet in Scottish
Though Holy Woman is what some claim
Personally I think that’s snobbish
Piglet’s a cute little name
The town itself is quite cute
It must look glorious in sun
But after coffee I shoot
Nothing much here to detain one
Pretty villages pepper the coastline
Alongside the wild Moray Firth
The quaint little harbours still shine
But the boats are of dubious worth
As I roll down the hill into Cullen
I simply don’t know what to think
There’s only a chippy & an Indian
Where I’d set my heart on the skink.
